Weekly Tournament Eligibility

MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING

Any member who has been a dues-paying member for no less than one golf season and has a computed handicap.

NEW MEMBERS WITH ESTABLISHED HANDICAP

Any new member with a verified handicap from another club. Verification must be received by the handicap chairperson prior to participation in a tournament.

NEW MEMBERS WITHOUT ESTABLISHED HANDICAP

A new member must establish a handicap to participate in tournaments. To establish a handicap with OHWGA, a new member must submit three attested scorecards dated no earlier than October 1 of the previous year. Additional information is available in the New Member packet.

LAPSED MEMBERS

An individual who was previously a member but is no longer on the computer sheet is considered a new member and must follow the eligibility rule above (new member without established handicap).
